James Strunk with Walt Jellison aboard PALOMAR putting together the WINOPS nav station. Note the excellent hats. Walt has roots in offshore construction. His grandmothers brother worked for Manson Construction for many years and his grandmothers sister married Hawk Edwards father of Glen Edwards the current president of Manson Construction Co. Seattle Washington. It's a small world in dredging.

L2R John DeRugeris of CLE Engineering with James Strunk and Pete Ford. John is president of CLE which perfoms many dredging related tasks i.e. hydro surveys, water quality, environmental monitoring, permitting & design etc. with 12 offices nationwide. James Strunk is a hydrographic surveyor as well as Pete Ford. Pete was the fist person to show me a lap top computer with the Windows 95 operating system near the Cape Fear River in North Carolina. Boy was I frightened. Pete & I have done several jobs together over the years. Mr. Ford is a top notch engineer.
